Manitowoc Repair in Houses, Apartments and Rentals
Manitowoc Ice has been part of Pentair since 2022, when Welbilt sold it during Welbilt's own sale to Ali Group. We repair Manitowoc machines independently and aren't an authorized service provider, so machines under warranty go through Manitowoc's network first. After that, we come to your business, diagnose the machine and quote before any work.
How a Repair Visit Works
Describe the Problem
The brand, the model number if it's handy, and what the appliance is doing. A photo of the rating label is a bonus.
Diagnosis On Site
The technician tests the appliance and its power, water, drain, gas or vent until the failed part is found.

You hear what failed and what the repair costs, then decide. Nothing starts without your OK.
Repair and Test
The part goes in, the appliance runs a cycle, and you see that it works before we leave.

Manitowoc Products We Service
From Wisconsin to Pentair
Manitowoc Ice takes its name from Manitowoc, Wisconsin, and was part of Welbilt until 2022, when Pentair bought it as Ali Group was acquiring Welbilt. The machines still carry the Manitowoc name.
The lineup includes Indigo NXT modular cubers, NEO undercounter machines, QuietQube remote systems that move the compressor and condenser outside the room, and flake and nugget machines. Around Pittsburgh they turn up in bars, restaurants, hotels, hospitals and school kitchens.
Cleaning cycles and sensors
Manitowoc machines have a built-in cleaning cycle and sensors that track ice thickness, water level and bin status. Scale and slime on the evaporator, the water distribution tube and those sensors are the leading causes of slow production and harvest trouble.
Running the cleaning cycle with approved chemicals on schedule, changing filters and keeping condensers clear prevents many calls. Some models have LuminIce, a UV system that slows growth in the food zone, but it doesn't replace cleaning.
Scheduling around the bar
Tell us your hours and busiest times when you book, and we'll plan around them when the fault allows. If a part is needed, you hear the lead time and whether the machine can run in the meantime.
Manitowoc, product by product
- Ice Makers: Indigo NXT and NEO cubers, QuietQube remote systems, flakers and nugget machines. Scale, water pumps, ice thickness probes, water level probes and bin sensing are common repairs.
Getting Manitowoc parts
Manitowoc parts come through its distributor network and commercial parts suppliers. Water pumps, probes, sensors, water valves and harvest components are routine orders. We match parts to the model and serial number and tell you when an equivalent is used.
Manitowoc: Questions We Hear
Quick answers to what people ask most. If yours isn't here, bring it up on the phone or type it into the notes box when you book.
Something else on your mind?
Reach out with the brand, the symptom and a model number if you have one. Some questions we can answer on the spot; the rest a technician can check in person.
Pentair, since 2022. Before that it was part of Welbilt, which sold it while Ali Group was acquiring Welbilt.
Scale, slime, a dirty condenser or a clogged filter are the usual reasons. Run the cleaning cycle and change the filter. If that doesn't help, we check the probes, pump and harvest parts.
Yes. We check the ice machine inside and the remote condensing unit outside, including the refrigerant lines, the condenser fan and the controls.
