Bertazzoni Stove Repair in Houses, Apartments and Rentals

We have no affiliation with Bertazzoni and are not one of its service centers. A stove still covered by the Bertazzoni warranty belongs with Bertazzoni first. Once it's out of coverage, give us the model number and the symptom when you book so we can look into parts ahead of time.

Basement laundry
In older houses the washer and dryer are often downstairs, past narrow steps and low beams, draining to a laundry tub or floor drain. Tell us how to get down there.
Rowhouses & older homes
New appliances often sit on old wiring, gas lines and vents. We check what feeds the machine as well as the machine.
Hillsides & parking
Steps up to the front door, permit-only blocks, alley entrances. A note about access when you book gets the visit started sooner.
Rentals & landlords
Tenants can book. The owner or manager gets the diagnosis and the price, and approves before any work.
Cold garages & porches
A spare fridge or freezer in an unheated space may stop holding temperature in winter without anything having failed. Check the manual's temperature range first.
Honest advice
If an older machine isn't worth the repair, we'll tell you so, and explain what actually broke.

How a Stove Repair Visit Works

01

Describe the Problem

The brand, the model number if it's handy, and what the appliance is doing. A photo of the rating label is a bonus.

02

Diagnosis On Site

The technician tests the appliance and its power, water, drain, gas or vent until the failed part is found.

03

Explanation and Quote

You hear what failed and what the repair costs, then decide. Nothing starts without your OK.

04

Repair and Test

The part goes in, the appliance runs a cycle, and you see that it works before we leave.

How Bertazzoni builds its stoves

Owners who call a Bertazzoni a stove usually describe what they deal with every day: holding the knob to light a burner, a click that won't stop, a flame that won't settle on low, or an oven slow to preheat. Most of that ties back to the flame-failure design. The thermocouples have to sit in the flame, the spark electrodes have to stay dry and clean, and burner caps have to be seated. A thorough cleaning and reseating solves a surprising share of these calls. When it doesn't, the thermocouple, valve or spark switch is tested. On the oven side, a slow preheat usually traces to an element or a fan, not the control.

Parts that tend to fail on Bertazzoni stoves

  • Burner goes out when knob released
  • Spark switch shorted by moisture
  • Low flame lifting off burner
  • Oven slow to preheat
  • Knob shaft loose on valve

Symptoms that aren't specific to one maker are covered on our stove repair page.

FAQ

Bertazzoni Stove: Questions We Hear

Quick answers to what people ask most. If yours isn't here, bring it up on the phone or type it into the notes box when you book.

Something else on your mind?

Reach out with the brand, the symptom and a model number if you have one. Some questions we can answer on the spot; the rest a technician can check in person.

A spark switch on one of the valves is stuck closed, usually from moisture or a spill that got under the knob. Letting the area dry can stop it. If it keeps happening, the switch or its wiring harness needs replacing.

Turn all the knobs off, avoid light switches and open flames, ventilate, and call your gas utility from outside. Once the utility has cleared it, we can repair the stove and leak-test any connection we open.
