How Thor Kitchen builds its stoves
The burner side of a Thor range takes most of the daily use. Sealed burners with spark ignition are generally reliable, but boil-overs soak the electrodes, grease packs the ports, and caps get set back crooked after cleaning. A burner that clicks but won't light may have a cracked electrode, often from a dropped grate, or a port blocked right at the electrode. A weak or yellow flame on a high-output burner points to clogged ports or a misaligned cap. Knobs on heavy use can loosen on their stems. We clean and inspect the burner, check the cap and test ignition before replacing any parts.

Something else on your mind?
Reach out with the brand, the symptom and a model number if you have one. Some questions we can answer on the spot; the rest a technician can check in person.
The electrode may be cracked or the ports next to it clogged, so the spark can't reach gas. We inspect both and replace the electrode if it's damaged.
Yes, following the manual. Let the parts dry completely and make sure each cap sits flat before relighting, since a crooked cap causes uneven flame.
