Fisher & Paykel Stove Repair in Houses, Apartments and Rentals
We have no affiliation with Fisher & Paykel and are not one of its service centers. A stove still covered by the Fisher & Paykel warranty belongs with Fisher & Paykel first. Once it's out of coverage, give us the model number and the symptom when you book so we can look into parts ahead of time.
How a Stove Repair Visit Works
Describe the Problem
The brand, the model number if it's handy, and what the appliance is doing. A photo of the rating label is a bonus.
Diagnosis On Site
The technician tests the appliance and its power, water, drain, gas or vent until the failed part is found.
Explanation and Quote

Repair and Test
The part goes in, the appliance runs a cycle, and you see that it works before we leave.
How Fisher & Paykel builds its stoves
When someone calls a Fisher & Paykel a stove, it's usually one of the freestanding ranges, and the lineup is wide: gas, electric and induction tops over electric or gas ovens. The first step is pinning down the configuration from the model number, because a cold oven on an induction model has nothing in common with a cold oven on a gas one. Freestanding units also collect years of spills that run down around the burners into switches and wiring, and the anti-tip bracket may have gone missing after a floor was replaced. In older Pittsburgh houses a gas stove may be fed by old piping with a shutoff down in the basement, which we check before moving anything.
Parts that tend to fail on Fisher & Paykel stoves
- Oven igniter or bake element failed
- Burner switch damaged by spills
- Induction zone not heating
- Oven temperature sensor fault
- Control or clock display dead

Fisher & Paykel Stove: Questions We Hear
Quick answers to what people ask most. If yours isn't here, bring it up on the phone or type it into the notes box when you book.
Something else on your mind?
Reach out with the brand, the symptom and a model number if you have one. Some questions we can answer on the spot; the rest a technician can check in person.
On gas models, the valve or its low-flame adjustment may be dirty or off, and the flame may be going out at low rather than failing to reach it. On induction models, it can be the power control for that zone. We test it on the stove itself.
Only for some repairs. Many burner and oven parts are reached without moving the stove. If it has to come out, we shut off the gas, protect the floor and leak-test the connection when it goes back.
