Dacor Stove Repair in Houses, Apartments and Rentals
We have no affiliation with Dacor and are not one of its service centers. A stove still covered by the Dacor warranty belongs with Dacor first. Once it's out of coverage, give us the model number and the symptom when you book so we can look into parts ahead of time.
How a Stove Repair Visit Works
Describe the Problem
The brand, the model number if it's handy, and what the appliance is doing. A photo of the rating label is a bonus.
Diagnosis On Site
The technician tests the appliance and its power, water, drain, gas or vent until the failed part is found.
Explanation and Quote
You hear what failed and what the repair costs, then decide. Nothing starts without your OK.
Repair and Test
The part goes in, the appliance runs a cycle, and you see that it works before we leave.
How Dacor builds its stoves
When Dacor owners call their range a stove, they're usually describing what fails in daily cooking. The gas burners are sealed and spark-lit, some with automatic relight, so a burner that clicks repeatedly or won't light points to a dirty or wet igniter, a cap out of place or a failing spark module. On the oven side, runaway temperatures often trace to the probe, and slow preheating to an element or the convection fan. Knob lights that go dark are separate from the gas side. On older units the control may freeze or show error messages, and a power reset is worth trying before a service call. We check the connections behind the stove too.
Parts that tend to fail on Dacor stoves
- Burner reignition clicking constantly
- Oven running hotter than setting
- Knob light supply failed
- Control freezing with error display
- Igniter cracked on one burner

Dacor Stove: Questions We Hear
Quick answers to what people ask most. If yours isn't here, bring it up on the phone or type it into the notes box when you book.
Something else on your mind?
Reach out with the brand, the symptom and a model number if you have one. Some questions we can answer on the spot; the rest a technician can check in person.
Turn off the breaker for about a minute and turn it back on. That resets many controls. If the freeze returns, the control board, its power supply or a sensor feeding it may be failing, and we test those.
Turn off all burners, avoid light switches and flames, ventilate, leave and call your gas company from outside. After it's cleared, we can repair the stove and leak-test any connection we disturb.
