How a Repair Visit Works
Describe the Problem
The brand, the model number if it's handy, and what the appliance is doing. A photo of the rating label is a bonus.
Diagnosis On Site
The technician tests the appliance and its power, water, drain, gas or vent until the failed part is found.
Explanation and Quote
You hear what failed and what the repair costs, then decide. Nothing starts without your OK.

Working around Westmoreland County
Westmoreland County begins where Allegheny County's eastern suburbs end, and its western edge feels like a continuation of them: the same rolling hills, the same creek valleys and the same mix of old borough streets and newer subdivisions. Greensburg is the county seat, further east, and the county as a whole runs out to the ridges of the Laurel Highlands.
Our coverage in Westmoreland County is currently the western edge: Murrysville, Irwin and North Huntingdon, and Trafford with the neighboring part of Penn Township. These communities sit right next to Monroeville, Plum and North Versailles, which is why they fit naturally alongside the eastern Allegheny County areas we already serve.
Every visit starts with a diagnosis in your home, and the price is explained and approved before any work is done. We are an independent company, not a manufacturer's authorized service center, and we work on all major brands of household and light commercial appliances.
Where we work in Westmoreland County today
Three ZIP codes make up our Westmoreland County coverage. 15668 is Murrysville, a home rule municipality along US 22. 15642 covers Irwin, North Irwin and much of North Huntingdon Township along Route 30 and the Turnpike's Irwin interchange. 15085 is Trafford, a borough mostly in Westmoreland with a small piece in Allegheny County, plus nearby parts of Penn Township.
If you're not sure whether your address falls within one of these ZIP codes, check the ZIP on your mail. A mailing address doesn't always match the municipality you live in, and the ZIP is what we go by when you book.
Housing on the county's western edge
The housing changes quickly from town to town. Irwin and Trafford are older boroughs, built in the late 1800s and early 1900s around coal, foundries and the railroad, with closely spaced houses, narrow basement stairs and kitchens that have been remodeled more than once. Trafford in particular grew up around the Westinghouse foundry that opened there in 1903.
Murrysville, North Huntingdon and Penn Township are mostly suburban, with ranches, split-levels and two-story homes from the postwar decades through recent years. These homes usually have attached garages, lower-level laundries and kitchens with more built-in appliances, which means more connections to check when something stops working.
Weather, creeks and appliances
Winters here are cold, with freeze-thaw cycles and January lows around 20 degrees, and that affects refrigerators and freezers kept in unheated garages. Many standard models aren't designed to run properly when the garage is that cold, so a garage freezer that thaws in January may need a different location rather than a repair.
Turtle Creek and Brush Creek run through Murrysville, Penn Township and Trafford, and the Turtle Creek valley has a long flood history. Summer thunderstorms can bring short power outages and occasional basement water. Keep basement appliances on a dry, level floor, and don't restart anything that has been wet until it has been checked.
Booking a visit
Call or book online with your street address, the appliance, what it's doing and the model number if you can find it. Let us know where the appliance is in the house, and mention steep driveways or outdoor steps, especially in winter. A technician will come to diagnose the problem and explain the repair and its price before starting.

Something else on your mind?
Reach out with the brand, the symptom and a model number if you have one. Some questions we can answer on the spot; the rest a technician can check in person.
Currently the county's western edge: Murrysville (15668), Irwin, North Irwin and North Huntingdon (15642), and Trafford with the neighboring part of Penn Township (15085). If your mail uses one of those ZIP codes, you can call or book online.

Refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, stoves, ranges, cooktops, microwaves, ice makers and wine coolers, from all major brands. We also handle light commercial units such as small business refrigerators and ice machines.
A technician comes to your home and diagnoses the appliance first. The cause and the price are explained, and nothing is done until you approve it. If a part has to be ordered, the technician will explain the next step.
